Her Lost Possible Reality (Rachel)
At first, Tom didn’t need a child the way I needed it. He wanted to be a dad but he thought our lives could be great without children, too. We had had a lot of quarrels over it. So it was quite intimidating for me to break the news to him about my pregnancy. Anyway, my nerves were to no avail. Tom was on cloud nine when I said that he was going to be a dad. He took me in his arms and promised that he would do whatever it took to become the best dad for our baby and the best husband for me. And he kept his word.
Our first daughter was born on the 5th of August. We named her Anna. While I was staying in the hospital, I lost track of an endless number of the bouquets of flowers he brought me every day. He desperately wanted to thank me for our own miracle with green eyes. And he continued giving me flowers even after my getting out.
Anna was a calm baby. The older she was getting, the more she was becoming like her father both in looks and in character. Even though Tom had to work hard to make good money for us to have everything we needed, he also spent a lot of time helping me bring our daughter up. She would become an upstanding person.
Our family was the most peaceful family in the neighborhood because our relationships with Tom changed with the birth of our first daughter. I noticed that Tom became more patient and more attentive to me. That was why we almost never had arguments.
We became a match, we became a set. We were happy and I was living my best life.

And then I woke up with an unbearable headache. I had a hungover. Again.
