Cultural Experiences

I had a great time today getting some online cultural experiences. I’ve checked all the links which we were given (not all of them worked properly though), and now I want to share with you what I liked the most.

To start with, I was impressed by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. At first, I had a tough time dealing with the site because I was already tired and my computer was tired too, so it was challenging for us, but then we managed to find something interesting.

I watched a video about the preservation of unique old clothes. The fabric, the pattern, the style of those clothes — everything is so gorgeous !!! And I appreciated the name of the online exhibition #WeWearCulture. I’m going to watch more videos on the coming weekend just for my pleasure.

Moreover, I tried to take a virtual tour of the museum, but something went wrong and the site was unexpectedly blocked by the Kaspersky :(

Also I enjoyed the New York Philharmonic. I listened to some recording… I did it with great relish. The music is different from what I usually listen to. The music is kind of melancholic but stirring at the same time, it’s stately and august. I think it’s the music I want to listen to more often. And I’ll do it (:

By the way, I even tried to play some games, but I didn’t succeed, unfortunately. I’ll probably try again next time as it seems to be engaging!

And, of course, I couldn’t resist the temptation to watch a part of “Saturday Night Live”. I adore the talk show with all my heart. I have been watching it now and then since I was 16, if I’m not mistaken.

Here is one of my most favorites episodes of the show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIdXxDARU_0 I hope you’ll like as much as I do.

That’s all for now.
